Paid ReleasesSumo
Usage
Player lobbies, matches, and admin setup for Nexra Sumo.
Players
Opening the lobby UI
Interact with a start point in the world. Start points can be:
| Type | Interaction |
|---|---|
ped | Target the ped |
target | Target the placed prop |
press_e | Walk up and press E |
Lobbies
From the UI players can:
- Browse public lobbies and join
- Create a lobby (name, max players, rounds, arena, vehicle, private password, spectators, zone debug, first person)
- Spectate a lobby when allowed
- Leave or, as owner, start / end the lobby and kick players
Private lobbies require the password to join.
Matches
- Lobby owner selects an arena and starts the match.
- Players are moved into the lobby routing bucket and spawned in the arena vehicle.
- After the countdown, the round is live.
- Last player still in the arena wins the round.
- After all rounds, overall winner is based on round wins. Everyone is returned to the default bucket when the lobby cleans up.
Elimination
A player is eliminated when they:
- Get pushed out of the arena zone (
out_of_bounds) - Leave their vehicle (
left_vehicle) - Destroy / lose their vehicle (
vehicle_destroyed)
Eliminated players can spectate remaining players when spectating is enabled.
Admins
Admin access uses ACE perms (nexra_sumo.admin by default). See Installation.
Admin menu
/sumoadminCommand name is set by Config.AdminCommand. Disable with Config.UseAdminCommand = false.
From the admin menu you can:
- Create, place, and delete start points
- Create, edit, and delete arenas (zone polygon, spawn points, default vehicle, thickness)
- View and force-close active lobbies
Arena requirements
An arena must have:
- At least 3 zone points
- At least 1 spawn point (a match needs at least as many spawns as players starting)
Zone thickness is clamped between 1.0 and 40.0.
Recommended setup
- Grant ACE permission and open
/sumoadmin - Place at least one start point where players should queue
- Create arenas with enough spawns for your expected lobby size
- Join via a start point and run a test match (use
Config.Debug = truefor solo testing)
